
David Kim, M.D.
Dr. David Kim graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelorís of Science degree in biology and psychology in 1991. After obtaining his medical degree from Stanford in 1997 he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Harvard in 2002
He finished his fellowship in shoulder reconstruction at Harvard shoulder service of Massachusetts general hospital/Brigham and Womenís hospital of Boston in 2003.
Dr. Kim was also a Fellow in sports medicine with the Kerlan-Jobe orthopedic clinic, Los Angeles in 2004. During his tenure at Kerlan-Jobe until the present he has worked with players of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers.
Dr. Kim is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has licenses in both California and Massachusetts to practice medicine.
He has been practicing in Huntington Beach for five years, specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy and shoulder reconstructive surgery.
His affiliations are with Hoag Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial hospital and Newport Center Surgical.
He enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and three children. He enjoys all sports especially golf, basketball and baseball. Dr. Kim also has a passion for computers and web based medical applications.
